Bangladesh lost Liton in the power play

Kriralok Desk: Bangladesh are batting after losing the toss in the first match of the three-match ODI series against Ireland. Ireland sent Bangladesh to bat after winning the toss at the Sylhet International Cricket Stadium from Saturday (March 18).

Bangladesh lost Tamim’s wicket at the start of batting. After that, Bangladesh also lost the wicket of Liton before the power play. In the end, Bangladesh collected 50 runs after losing 2 wickets at the end of 10 overs of power play.

After losing the toss and batting, Bangladesh lost wickets in the end despite a good start. In the third over of the innings, the team captain Tamim Iqbal returned after scoring 15 runs. Tamim returned with a catch in the hands of Paul Sterling who was standing at slip off Mark Adair with 3 runs from 9 balls.

Nazmul Hasan Shanto came to the crease after Tamim. Another opener Liton Das kept the run wheel going with Shanto. However, in the tenth over of the innings, Liton returned back by scoring 26 runs from 31 balls for the team’s 49 runs. Then Shakib Al Hasan came to the crease. In the end, Bangladesh collected 50 runs after losing 2 wickets at the end of 10 overs of power play. Shanto is unbeaten on 13 runs off 19 balls.
