Mumbai to face Gujarat

Kriralok Desk: Mumbai Indians and Gujarat Titans, one of the two strongest teams in IPL, are facing each other at the Narendra Modi Stadium in Ahmedabad today (May 26). On the one hand, Mumbai, confident of a great victory in the eliminator, on the other, Gujarat, desperate to turn around. All in all, cricket lovers are waiting for a crowded fight.

Mumbai is one of the most successful teams in IPL. The team has had the experience of playing in the finals several times before. Apart from that, experienced players like Rohit Sharma-Suryakumar Yadav are one of the team’s mainstays. On the other hand, Gujarat, who won the title in their first edition, are desperate to fulfill their dream of playing in the final for the second time.

In the current IPL, table toppers Gujarat suffered a major setback in the first qualifier, losing to Dhoni’s Chennai Super Kings. So today there is no option but to win in front of Hardik Pandya’s team. Considering that, Rohit’s team got the confidence to beat Gujarat with an easy win in the eliminator. Besides, statistics also speak in favor of Mumbai. Earlier, Mumbai had the last laugh both times in the three meetings between the two teams. But Hardik’s team is ready to take revenge.

The task will not be easy for Gujarat. Because the way Mumbai came from the bottom of the points table to the playoffs is really inspiring. The five-time champions want to use that motivation to reach the finals. One of Gujarat’s strengths is the team’s batting line-up. It is very important for Shubman Gill, David Miller, Pandias to shine in this match. Mumbai will also want Rohit-Yadav’s bat to smile. Because stopping Mumbai is a tough challenge if their bat smiles.

Mumbai Probable XI: Ishan Kishan, Rohit Sharma (captain), Cameron Green, Suryakumar Yadav, Tilak Burma, Tim David, Nehal Vedera, Chris Jordan, Piyush Chawla, Jason Behrendoff and Akash Madwal.

Gujarat Probable XI: Wriddhiman Saha, Shubman Gill, Hardik Pandya (captain), Dasun Shanaka, David Miller, Vijay Shankar, Rahul Tewatia, Rashid Khan, Darshan Nalkande, Noor Ahmed and Mohammad Shami.
