Pakistan is given scheduled to play three ODIs and three T20Is against Zimbabwe in October-November. On this series, Pakistan’s T20I captain Babar Azam promised to take the field against Zimbabwe `with full preparation’ for the upcoming series.
Pakistan Chief selector and head coach Misbah-ul-Haq is planning to name a pool of 22 players during the second phase of the ongoing series. On October to November National T20 Cup in Rawalpindi for the One-day International and Twenty20 International series against Zimbabwe. After that series, Pakistany player will travel to New Zealand. And they will play two Tests and three Twenty20 matches.

The Pakistani top order batsman Azam spoke about how he practices hard on the pitch and under difficult conditions to prepare for the worst. The head coach also hoped the National T20 Cup and the Zimbabwe matches would provide a perfect platform for the selectors to pick the best talent for the tour of New Zealand. And two mega events next year like T20 World Cup and T20 Asia Cup.
Pakistan last played against Sri Lanka in Karachi. On September last year, three ODI matches series winning 2-0 after opening fixture was washed out.
